Sowmya Partha is the Deputy Chief Information Officer and Deputy Director for the Bureau of Information Technology Services at the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), where she is responsible for providing strategic leadership and Information Technology (IT) oversight for enterprise-wide IT services, infrastructure, and operations. As a seasoned technology manager with more than 28 years of IT experience, she brings a proven track record of providing oversight for enterprise-wide IT initiatives that directly support the vision and strategic objectives of WisDOT's senior leadership. Her extensive experience centers on leading and mentoring cross-functional teams within the enterprise domain, where she has consistently provided high-quality, cost-effective, and innovative solutions to help WisDOT’s business areas and divisions accomplish their objectives. Sowmya holds degrees from the State University of New York-Binghamton and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
