Michelle O'Neill is the Structure Asset Management Engineer for the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) and also manages the Ancillary Structures Program. She supports MDOT's nationally recognized asset management program by advancing data-driven decision-making and helping integrate asset management principles into transportation investment and program development. She oversees a team of engineers, specialists, and technicians responsible for administering MDOT’s structural asset management functions. This includes managing the bridge and culvert capital outlay program, setting policy and performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with both state and federal programs.
