Chris Englebrecht is the Director of Safety and Emergency Management for the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) and a Certified Safety Professional with nearly 30 years of service to the agency. Throughout his career, he has led innovative initiatives to improve roadway and work zone safety, earning prestigious honors including the AASHTO Francis B. Francois Award for Innovation and the Missouri Governor's Award for Quality and Productivity. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Missouri and is committed to advancing practical, technology-driven solutions that enhance safety for both roadway workers and the traveling public.
