Mike Vaughn is the Traffic Safety Branch Manager for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) within the Division of Traffic Operations at the Central Office in Frankfort, KY. In his current role, Mike leads a team of engineers who administer Kentucky’s Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP). He is also one of KYTC’s representatives on the AASHTO Committee on Safety. Mike is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Kentucky.
