For over 30 years, Mike has helped agencies overcome the challenges associated with transportation and toll-related projects. From serving as Florida Turnpike’s GEC Design Manager to Maryland DOT State Highway Authority’s (MDOT SHA) GEC Toll Lead, Mike has led the planning, development, and implementation of major tolling projects and programs across the country. He brings expertise in priced managed lanes, tolling infrastructure design, toll systems implementation, and toll operations. He has led efforts in tolling-related service RFP development, toll policy development, and the development of new business processes & rules relative to P3 interfaces, and has performed design & design reviews of tolling infrastructure to accommodate vendor system needs. While serving Florida Turnpike Enterprise’s GEC contract, Mike led the development of statewide tolling design standards for all tolling infrastructure projects and helped implement the conversion of more than 100 cash-collection toll lanes to electronic toll collection.
