5K Queen City Riverfront Run

Kick off your morning in the Queen City with a scenic 5K run that highlights the very infrastructure bringing us together. Whether you’re looking to set a personal best or simply enjoy a morning walk with colleagues, this route offers a unique perspective on Cincinnati’s past, present, and future.

The Route

Participants will depart from the First Financial Convention Center, heading through downtown Cincinnati toward the riverfront. The course features a "bridge-to-bridge" loop that is as historic as it is scenic:

· The John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge: Cross this National Historic Landmark into Covington, Kentucky, and enjoy the architectural beauty that served as a precursor to the Brooklyn Bridge.

· The Clay Wade Bailey Bridge: Head back across the Ohio River, catching fresh air and wide-open views of the water.

· The Cincinnati Riverfront: Experience the revitalized banks of the Ohio River as you make your way toward the finish line.

A Glimpse of the Future

Along the way, runners will get a front-row view of construction on the $4.05 billion Brent Spence Bridge Corridor Project. It’s a rare opportunity to see one of the nation’s most significant infrastructure "mega projects" in action before diving into the day’s technical sessions.
